This item is sleek and modern looking. It's sturdy for my laptop and the price is just as nice. My only dislike would be that I wish I can adjust the height. However, it is perfect for what I need.
I have a use case where a gaming laptop suits me best. And so I have gone through tons of laptop stands, while the vertical style stands would take up less space they also reduce the amount of heat ventilation that occurs. This is great if you also want to use the laptop monitor as primary or secondary as since it raises the laptop up you can easily place a keyboard underneath/in front of you and a mouse on the side. I wouldn't recommend this if you want to type on the laptop, although it certainly is steady enough to do so. Wrist relief would be non-existent.
